Our Chiropractor uses his medical knowledge and incorporates his chiropractic training to optimize patient health and wellbeing. He is trained to diagnose and treat disorders of the neuromusculoskeletal system as well as Headaches. By utilizing a drug-free, hands-on approach he is able to restore the natural healing process of the body and optimize health. Chiropractors commonly utilize their hands or various instruments to perform a controlled high velocity, low amplitude spinal manipulation also known as a chiropractic adjustment. This Chiropractic adjustment can elicit audible “pops” or “cracks” similar to the noise heard if “cracking” knuckles. This adjustment releases the tension, restores joint mobility and increases circulation to the surrounding tissues and the joint, thereby alleviating pain, stiffness and facilitates healing. Chiropractors have broad diagnostic skills and are also trained to recommend therapeutic stretches, rehabilitative exercises, as well as to provide nutritional, dietary and lifestyle counseling. They also employ a variety of techniques to treat associated soft tissue conditions, such as muscle soreness, tightness, spasm, repetitive use injuries, sprains/strains, trigger points and sports injuries by utilizing various therapeutic techniques, soft tissue rehabilitation, myofascial release, physical therapy modalities, and much more..
When there is a misalignment in the spine or pain, individuals might find themselves adjusting their position in an attempt to reduce the symptoms. Unfortunately, this shift in posture does not result in correction of subluxated joints. Our chiropractor can help to align your problem areas which can result in better overall posture and a reduction in symptoms.
Scoliosis is a condition that affects the curvature of the spine. The back can curve and twist causing difficulty with mobility, range of motion, pain, and may even affect your ability to breathe. While there are several options available to help cope with scoliosis, chiropractic adjustments have shown to help treat the disease. When chiropractic adjustments are used in tandem with physical therapy, the progression of scoliosis can even be halted.
Many patients believe that the only way to reduce inflammation is with medication or heat therapies. However, these treatment options are only temporary and often time does not correct the underlying problem.
Since properly aligned joints are less likely to experience irritation that leads to inflammation, chiropractic adjustments can reduce or eliminate your inflammation.
If there is a change in the body's form due to a misaligned or tight muscles that can lead to a decrease in its normal function. Our highly trained team approaches your spinal discomforts with an intergraded plan specific to your condition.
